Ready to zoom around on your Nimbus 2000 during the upcoming Harry Potter x Fortnite collaboration?
Fortnite is notorious for giving fans quite a bit of new and unique content during Winterfest, which usually begins in late November or early December. In the past, we have gotten free Star Wars cosmetics and more, but this year, it looks as if Fortnite will be providing fans with Harry Potter content during Winterfest, which is a brand new collaboration for the Battle Royale.
Here is what we know so far about the Harry Potter x Fortnite collaboration.
Harry Potter is coming to Fortnite
Ready to join the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter, but in Fortnite? The famous franchise is finally getting its very own Fortnite collaboration, and fans are more than hyped. Leaked by Hypex, the popular Twitter Fortnite leaker, we now know a bit of information about the Harry Potter x Fortnite collaboration.
While we have no official date, we do know that the collaboration will take place during Winterfest, meaning we may get some free cosmetics given to us in the form of presents under the Christmas tree.
However, other cosmetics will either be unlockable or purchasable in the Item Shop. While we do not have word yet on what skins and cosmetics will be in the game, it would be quite ludicrous if Fortnite did not include an actual Harry Potter skin.
We do know, though, that a new mythic is coming to the game.
Broom mythic to join the game
You cannot do a proper Harry Potter collaboration in any game without including a flying broom. Maybe even a Golden Snitch. The new Harry Potter collaboration in Fortnite will include a broom mythic, meaning players will get to fly around the map.
It is expected that the broom mythic will be like the classic Witch's Broom, which was introduced back in Chapter 2. This mythic lets players jump in the air, giving them a quick boost across parts of the map.
Brooms are ideal for traveling fast, especially when the storm is pushing up against you.
