When is King Zuva available in Brawlhalla?

This new Brawlhalla Legend joins the game on Oct. 16, 2024. The King Zuva release date was confirmed in the official reveal trailer.

In the video, you can see King Zuva having a good time on a hill, surrounded by an African landscape. He stops playing music to face brave challengers. Battles start on various Brawlhalla stages, and King Zuva demonstrates the power of his fighting kit.

Weapons of King Zuva in Brawlhalla

Like all the other characters, King Zuva battles with two weapons. They strongly dictate his fighting style. King Zuva is a Hammer / Battle Boots Brawlhalla Legend.

  • Hammer is a massive weapon, able to deal big damage. Landing a hit with it may be challenging, as Hammer is relatively slow.
  • Battle Boots are quick, and it’s easy to combo with them.

It’s the only such weapon combination in Brawlhalla. There are 10 other Hammer Legends in the game, including reliable picks even on the top-most competitive level. Teros with Axe and Hammer strongly dominates the global esports scene (Kyna mains him). As for Battle Boots, they are a new Brawlhalla weapon: four other characters have Battle Boots, including Red Raptor, the main pick of Raydish.

Brawlhalla King Zuva: Basic combos

The concept of identical weapons for different Brawlhalla characters means they have one set of Light Attacks. All the Hammer Legends are equipped with the Light Hammer moveset so that they can use the same combos. It’s also true for Battle Boots.

Time is needed to figure out how to link the massive Signature Attacks of King Zuva to Light Attack combos. Quite often, it’s trickier to do and depends on a battle situation. Most Light-Sign combos are actually strings, with a chance to escape a heavier hit.

Here you’ll find Brawlhalla true combos for King Zuva’s light attacks.

Hammer Brawlhalla combos

  • Down Light -> Neutral Light
  • D Light -> Side Light
  • D Light -> N Air

King Zuva’s moveset

The Signature moveset of King Zuva was briefly shown in the trailer.

  • Side Sign on Hammer is far-reaching, with a forward slide. It launches the victim horizontally.
  • On Battle Boots, Side Sign is a full-body kick. It doesn’t have a big launching power, but it can be linked to Lights, even in the air.
  • Down Sign on Boots is a strong sliding stomp that kicks horizontally.
  • Down Sign on Hammer is a ground hit that launches the opponent into the air and then downwards.

Brawlhalla skins for King Zuva

On the release, King Zuva has three skins. They were shown in the reveal trailer.

  • Golden Gladiator Zuva — the king is ready for gladiator battles.
  • Ancestral Zuva — the character has the ritual outfit of his people.
  • Elegant Zuva — It’s a Brawlhalla King Zuva skin with some cool vibes.

The Legend may get crossover skins in the future: like Vivi, one of the newest additions to the roster, who can turn into Mega Man.
