The competitive focus is on big Seasonal Championships and an extended series of Royale Invitationals.

Blue Mammoth Games revealed their plans for Brawlhalla Esports Year 10, and the schedule looks pretty exciting! Some interesting changes shake the competitive scene up — all are described here.

In general, we can see how Brawlhalla esports returns to its roots while still experimenting with new formats.

Seasonal Championships are back!

The most notable, and arguably the most exciting, part of Brawlhalla Esports Year 10 is the return of classic Seasonal Championships. We all enjoyed the variety of Trials in 2024, such as the final one, the Trial of Freya, but this new/old format helps the community to focus on bigger events and have a concentrated esports experience.

There are four Brawlhalla Seasonal Championships in 2025.

Event1v1 dates2v2 dates
Winter ChampionshipFeb. 21 – Feb. 23Feb. 28 – March 2
Spring ChampionshipMay 9 – May 11May 16 – May 18
Summer ChampionshipJuly 18 – July 20July 25 – July 27
Autumn ChampionshipSep. 12 – Sep. 14Sep. 19 – Sep. 14

All these tournaments happen in five regions.

  • Southeast Asia and the Middle East: On Fridays
  • Europe and South America: On Saturdays
  • North America: On Sundays

More Royales, fewer participants, an open event

These Brawlhalla invitationals are different in the Esports Year 10.

  • The competitive elite has four Royales. There were two in 2024, and the Brawlhalla Autumn Royale concluded that format.
  • After a Seasonal, only the top two players per region get their Royale invites, which is half fewer than in 2024. Three Royales are only for six participants: from South America, Europe, and North America.
  • Winter Royale is an open event with 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments. This feels like an extra offline championship during Brawlhalla Esports Year 10.

Two offline championships

This part of Brawlhalla Esports Year 10 remains identical to what we had in 2024. The competitive schedule features two big offline gatherings.

  • The Midseason Championship 2025 is part of the CEO event. Brawlhalla players join the party of the whole fighting games community (FGC) like it was during CEO 2024.
  • The World Championship, BCX 2025, traditionally concludes the year.

Extra fun during Brawlhalla Esports Year 10

In addition to the main competitive events, the full schedule of Brawlhalla Esports Year 10 features three unusual championships. They represent the game’s side modes.

  • Brawlball
  • Triples
  • Kung Foot

Support of the community in smaller regions continues for 2025, but it is limited to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. We still can remember the times when Australian tournaments were a thing: they are not back this year.
