2XKO reveals Warwick in new cinematic ahead of early access

Riot Games just revealed Warwick as the next 2XKO champion. The reveal was through a new cinematic featuring the “Ties That Bind” song by Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox.

The new 2XKO cinematic kicks off with Ekko duking it out against Yasuo. Suddenly, Ahri appears and shares some flashbacks with Ekko. The two fight Yasuo for a bit, with the cinematic cleverly showing how Ekko and Ahri tag each other in and out of the battle, before Warwick suddenly jumps into the fray. At the end of the cinematic, Illaoi appears with Blitzcrank to indicate another fight.

With the addition of Warwick, 2XKO now has 11 confirmed champions as of Oct. 6. The other ones include Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo, Illaoi, Blitzcrank, Darius, Braum, Jinx, Vi, and Teemo.

According to the game's developers, players can also look forward to playing as Warwick starting Oct. 7 during the game's early access.

"Here's your early access roster," a post from official 2XKO account on X stated. The post added that early access kicks off at 8 a.m. PT on PC with no code required.

According to executive producer Tom Cannon, the 2XKO early access includes a full season of content and key features like Combo Trials, a Battle Pass, ranked play, and balance tuning. Players can also look forward to keeping everything from the early access.
