One Piece: Heroines, the spin-off manga featuring the One Piece’s most popular women characters, is getting an anime adaptation.

A popular spin-off manga that was released back in 2021, called "One Piece: Heroines," is getting an anime adaptation. The story follows some of the top women characters from the beloved One Piece anime, giving them a unique storyline of their own.

Here is everything we know about One Piece: Heroines' upcoming anime release.

One Piece: Heroines to get anime series with some of the best women characters from One Piece

If you watch anime, you know how popular the hit series One Piece is. The anime has been tugging at fans' hearts since 1999, when it was first released. The show also has some of the most prominent women characters in anime, empowering them amongst all the other characters within the show.

And now, One Piece: Heroines, the popular spin-off manga, is getting its very own anime release.

The story follows eight of the show's most popular women characters, which are the eight listed below:

  • Nami
  • Nico Robin
  • Nefertari Vivi
  • Perona
  • Boa Hancock
  • Tashigi
  • Vinsmoke Reiju
  • Uta

The storyline is made up of two novels, meaning we will probably get two seasons or one large season. The first book follows the first four girls listed above (Nami, Nico Robin, Vivi and Perona), and the second book follows (Boa Hancock, Tashigi, Vinsmoke Reiju, and Uta).

One Piece to give us more content following our favorite women characters

While Nami and Nico Robin are easily the two most popular girls in One Piece (arguably in all of anime), this story has allowed fans to get a deeper look at some of the other women characters that were not as prominent as the two Straw Hat girls are.

In fact, being able to see Vivi get more screen time has been something fans have wished for since her first appearance back during the Albasta arc.

The show's announcement is perfect timing for the release of a season two trailer for the live-action One Piece. As of now, however, One Piece: Heroines does not have a release date.
