BOOM completes Team Secret Dota 2 roster for 2022/2023 DPC

Former Gaimin Gladiators’ midlaner, BOOM enters the arena. Team Secret Dota 2 roster for 2022/2023 DPC is now complete.

A new era begins. Western European powerhouse, Team Secret finalizes its Dota 2 roster for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season with the addition of Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan. The former Gaimin Gladiators' midlaner will fill in the shoes of Secret's former midlaner, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski.

Here is Team Secret's Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season:

  • Remco "Crystallis" Arets
  • Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan
  • Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok
  • Baqyt "Zayac" Emiljanov
  • Clement "Puppey" Ivanov
  • Lee "Heen" Seung Gon (Coach)

Team Secret has been teasing the community with a slow roster reveal. In a couple of days, it unveiled the same lineup up until the departure of Nisha - which shook the Dota 2 community. To fill in the massive void left by Nisha, Team Secret picked up young Czech player, BOOM.

"Boom is a skilled midlaner that has progressed year after year," said Puppey, the captain of Team Secret. "Talking to him was a pleasant and confidence assuring experience. He is young, hungry, talented and I think he will be a great fit to the team."

BOOM last played for Gaimin Gladiators which proved to be a strong contender in the competitive Western European region. He exploded in the Dota 2 sphere after securing a first-place finish at WEU Tour 1 DPC Regional Finals with GG. After securing sufficient DPC points, GG earned a direct invite to Dota 2's grandest tournament and BOOM made his debut on the stage of TI.

Despite placing 9th -12th, GG played impressively. One of their highlights would be BOOM's incredible clutches and plays, cementing his name as a prominent midlaner.

Team Secret is ready for 2023

With everything set in place, Team Secret is now ready to enter the next season of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). The biggest question, however, is their unpredictable chemistry. Nisha has long been the backbone of Team Secret and it will be the first time in four years that the team competes without him.

This iteration of Secret certainly feels different but it's indeed refreshing. We'll have to see whether or not Team Secret finds its footing soon or if it'll have a rocky start.

The roster lock deadline is approaching fast and Dota 2 teams will begin revealing their rosters soon. Stick around Esports.gg to keep yourself up to date with the stormy shuffle season!
