Nisha departs Team Secret ahead of DPC 2023, ending a four-year stint with the team

The Dota 2 scene sees a massive roster shift. Dominant prodigy, Nisha departs Team Secret after 4 years.

Today marks the end of an era. Team Secret announced that its midlaner, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski won't be joining the team for the upcoming DPC season despite a 2nd place finish at TI11. After a 3-day long roster announcement that unfolded piece by piece, Secret dropped the big news and bid farewell to the 22-year-old player.

This roster shift is shocking for fans as Nisha had been an integral foundation of Team Secret. He even delivered a brilliant performance at the recent TI11, with many defining him as the backbone of Secret.

Nisha was an unproven new blood scouted by Puppey in 2018. But he quickly rose to become one of the strongest, most consistent players in the world. He is often praised for his stable and solid performance across multiple roles. The Polish player is also known to have flawless mechanical skills acknowledged by his peers.

Throughout 4 years with Team Secret, Nisha accumulated countless victories under his belt. Here are some of his best achievements so far:

Team Secret's captain, Puppey left a farewell message for Nisha. From his statement, it is clear that Nisha had decided to "move on" and left the team "to see more of the world."

What can I say about my boy Nisha... We've played many years together, shared many laughs, travelled the world and won a bunch of tournaments. I cherish our time together and completely understand his decision to move on and see more of the world. I wish him all the best and hope that his fire will keep burning for many more years.
