SumaiL joins Team Secret for BetBoom Dacha which will take place in Yerevan, Armenia.

The upcoming $250K prize pool BetBoom Dacha has seen multiple teams pull out for various reasons. And most recently, Quest Esports, who just qualified for TI12, withdrew from the tier 1 tournament. It appears that Team Secret will instead fill in the vacant slot -- and they are bringing Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan with them.

Quest Esports, one of the rising forces of Western Europe, had just bagged a TI12 invite. But the team won't be able to ride their strong momentum as they will not attend BetBoom Dacha, reportedly due to VISA issues. Previously, Team Spirit and Team Aster also withdrew from the tournament.

According to Liquipedia, Quest Esports is no longer a part of BetBoom Dacha's lineup. Instead in its place, it shows an empty Team Secret with all of its lineup still "To Be Decided" (TBD), except for SumaiL in the midlane.

Team Secret has also just announced their participation in BetBoom Dacha. SumaiL is confirmed to stand-in for Armel "Armel" Tabios, who is the current midlaner for Team Secret. "While the rest of our roster remains unchanged, Armel will be getting some well-deserved rest with his family," Team Secret posted.

Both parties, Team Secret and SumaiL, are just off a disappointing run in the TI12 qualifiers. Team Secret was knocked out of the WEU Qualifier by none other than Quest Esports in an intense Lower Bracket debacle. On the other hand, SumaiL and Team Aster faced a shocking loss against Team Bright early on in the CN Qualifier.

BetBoom Dacha begins September 10th

The already exciting BetBoom Dacha has just got spicier. The tournament fields TI12 teams like 9Pandas, Gaimin Gladiators, beastcoast, and BetBoom Team itself. But alongside the high-level competition, fans are also looking forward to the LAN atmosphere.

This LAN playoffs will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, from September 10th to 16th. It is touted to have the same style as the old-school Beyond The Summit tournaments.
