Evil Geniuses is the first team to be eliminated from DreamLeague Season 21.

South America's star team, Evil Geniuses is the first to bomb out from DreamLeague Season 21. The team departs the $1 million tournament following a disappointing performance in the Group Stage. The final standings for teams have yet to be confirmed as we await the results tomorrow.

Evil Geniuses roster is as follows:

  • Crhistian "Pakazs" Savina
  • Jean Pierre "Chris Luck" Salazar
  • Adrián "Wisper" Dobles
  • Farith "Matthew" Puente
  • Jose "Panda" Padilla

Evil Geniuses heads to TI12 with question marks

Evil Geniuses has been in a questionable state for the past three months. The team had crumbled during the Bali Major, bowing out in last place. They then had a quick run during the Riyadh Masters, facing elimination in the first round of Playoffs.

And in this ongoing DreamLeague Season 21, they are the first team to depart the tournament. This follows a 0-1-3 scoreline which sees EG fail to grab a single series win and suffer three series losses. The team lost against Gaimin Gladiators, Team Spirit, and OG and grabbed a draw against Quest Esports.

It's apparent that Evil Geniuses is struggling to find their footing. And they will need to find their spark soon as their next destination will be TI12, the most important championship of the year.

More teams to be eliminated

DreamLeague Season 21's Group Stage concludes tomorrow. The tournament will bid farewell to three more teams after the Group Stage. At the moment, Talon Esports, Team Liquid, and Quest Esports are all in the red zone and have the biggest chances of facing elimination.

Surprisingly, OG, who is the only team at the tournament that is not going to attend TI12, is performing well. The prominent org has not lost a single series, securing one win and three draws.
