Team Liquid beat nouns and make it to the Upper Bracket, with other three teams. Will the crowd buff them to finally lift their first trophy of the year?

Elite League’s Season 2 modified Swiss Stage saw eight out of sixteen teams eliminated. After the unexpected MOUZ and HEROIC’s early elimination, it’s time for the next stage of the event. This edition of the Elite League playoffs features a live audience in Lima, Peru.

Today’s games were not definitive yet. Elite League’s group stage only decides the seedings, with no teams eliminated yet. On the other hand, tomorrow is the make-or-break day for all the four teams that didn’t get enough points today.

Elite League Season 2 Playoffs Brackets

It’s going to be a packed weekend of Dota for the fans of Tier 1 games. All four BO3 matches are set to happen tomorrow, Aug. 1. The crowd attending will see their two local teams, BOOM and beastcoast, eliminating each other. Also, Peru’s golden boy, Pakazs needs to show his new team shouldn’t miss their old carry, RTZ.

Elite League's Season 2 Playoffs brackets

Team Liquid started their group stage with a weak round of defeats against 1win, BOOM, and OG. Now that they managed to make it to the fourth place, their comeback will be sealed if they get their revenge against OG.

Why is OG’s placement better than 1win’s if they lost one more game?

1win had an amazing run during Elite League’s Swiss and group stage, getting the best score in the table ahead of the playoffs stage. Nevertheless, the final score decides the seeding; and OG beat them on their last encounter. This resolved the tie between them, and it’s the same reason why Team Liquid’s placement is better than nouns.

Who’s Shopify Rebellion’s hard carry?

As many know, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev stepped out of the competitive scene to take a break. To play the Elite League Season 2, the rebels signed Christian “Pakazs” Savina. Thus, David “Parker” Nicho is now playing for BOOM.
