The impressive selection of weapon skins in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) has become even wider thanks to these newest items.

17 new weapon skins were added to CS2 with the Dead Hand Collection. The set is especially exciting thanks to 22 new gloves: such additions are unique for Counter-Strike cosmetics.

The collection is part of a small update from March 11, 2026. In fact, Valve did almost nothing beyond these skins, following their recent tradition of slightly adjusting the official maps and updating the community creation. This time, we’ve got a slight fix on Dust II — “a pixel gap in a door Outside Long” — and the newest version of Alpine.

How to obtain skins and gloves from the CS2 Dead Hand Collection

All these items were added to the Dead Hand Terminal. This alternative to traditional CS2 cases is available via free weekly drops in the game.

To get Dead Hand Collection items, you need to play CS2 regularly, level up your account, and hope for the Dead Hand Terminal as a Weekly Care Package drop.

To open the terminal, you don’t need a key, which is the main difference to older cases in Counter-Strike. Valve introduced this approach with the CS2 Genesis Collection.

The exact skins you obtain from the Dead Hand Terminal are still random. Rare drops are great luck, as they always have been.

CS2 gloves in the Dead Hand Collection

There is a very slight chance of getting gloves from the Dead Hand Terminal. Reportedly, it’s around 0.26%, which is a common drop rate for exceedingly rare items, CS2 knives and gloves. Then, the terminal randomly selects one of the 22 new gloves. They were added to the game specifically with the Dead Hand Collection.

  • 7 new Sports Gloves
  • 7 new Specialist Gloves
  • 8 new Driver Gloves

Crafting gloves via trade-in contracts or purchasing them on a marketplace is a more reliable strategy.

Weapon skins in the CS2 Dead Hand Collection

Naturally, everyone is hunting for the rarest CS2 skins in the newest terminal.

However, the Dead Hand Collection features pretty awesome items even of the lowest rarity, Mil-Spec Grade. M4A4 | Zubastick is openly aggressive. PP-Bizon | RMX brings some Fade vibes for a much lower price.

Covert skins

Two Covert skins are arguably the most beautiful.

  • Glock-18 | Fully Tuned is about a bright anime art style.

Classified skins

For this level of rarity, the Dead Hand Collection offers a skin for one of the most popular assault rifles and more.

  • AK-47 | Crane Flight is clearly a highly sought-after item. The rifle is on the top of the CS2 tier list. The image is a gentle beauty.

  • P250 | Kintsugi follows a bird theme, too. High damage and a lower price make the P250 a good pistol update in the game, so skins for it have a nice use in players’ loadouts.

  • P90 | Deathgaze is a surprisingly gorgeous piece of art. The skin uses the big body size of this SMG as an extended canvas. Some players choose this weapon for its high magazine and controllable recoil.

Restricted skins

The selection of restricted skins features two especially notable items: finishes for the Desert Eagle and the M4A1-S. The Galil AR | Galigator skin is fun and bright, so you have a cheaper in-game rifle with a stylish look. Both SMGs are also pretty decent.

Mil-Spec Grade skins

Realistically, most drops from the CS2 Dead Hand Terminal are of this rarity level. Adding cool-looking skins for the M4A4 and the USP-S is a nice touch by Valve.

That’s all CS2 skins included in the Dead Hand Collection. Perhaps, some top players will feature these items at the biggest esports tournaments of 2026.

Previously, Valve announced a contest for Call to Arms-ory items. The suggested skins should be related to the Arabesque art and Arabian mythology or to spy and tech. We expect them to form a new skin collection for Counter-Strike 2 soon.
