The most interesting teams to follow
We've highlighted a few potential favorites in this article about the betting side of CS2 PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. Here, we can list some generally interesting teams to follow, regardless of the estimated win chances.
- Team Liquid: It would be great to see this organization on top again. The success of TL is also essential for healthy CS2 competition in North America and worldwide.
- Astralis: The team delivers brilliant matches, even if they are desperately bad for Astralis players. We could see this in Stage 1 of EPL Season 22 with a 0:13 on Nuke. Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and crew are still capable of good results, and they were in the grand final at PGL Astana 2025.
- Legacy: These players demonstrate explosive Counter-Strike, from in-game action to powerful reactions by Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer. Legacy reached an impressive height, as they won the CS Asia Championships 2025 around a week ago.
- Aurora could be named a top team, but their unstable play is somewhat disturbing. It’s still interesting to follow them.
- Gentle Mates upset The MongolZ at EPL Season 22, and their playstyle suggests further successes.
- Ninjas in Pyjamas is one of the fundamental organizations for Counter-Strike esports. The current roster has been performing decently, and NiP played in the grand final of StarSeries Fall 2025.
The tight schedule of CS2 esports knows no breaks, as the next big tournament starts in a couple of days after the grand final at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. All the top teams gather for the last big competition before the Budapest Major — Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2025, from Nov. 3 to Nov. 9.
