NIP’s last roster change was the addition of ALEX who also assumes the responsibility of the In Game Leader. As the former Movistar Rider player, he brings a unique perspective to the NIP roster. The team has had some time together to practice and gel together. Their first match of the League was against G2, arguably one of the best teams in the tournament. They fared relatively decent in the first map, but couldn’t find their footing in the second.

This lack of stable performance is what underscores the NIP fate at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023. The Ninjas have potential, but their lack of stability on all maps means they are highly dependent on the opponent and the map veto.

At the same time, Complexity’s roster has had some time together as a squad. The team recently finished first in the PGL Copenhagen qualifiers. While the team does have some momentum ahead of it, it will be a test for the players to face off against a non-NA team. This match might go the distance, but NIP has a slight advantage simply in terms of firepower and experience.
