The All About Counter-Strike podcast brings together James Banks and Devilwalk.

Host, interviewer, and presenter James Banks has joined forces with Major Champion and respected coach Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg to launch a brand new podcast. The All About Counter-Strike podcast promises to bring fresh insights and exciting stories from the world of CS2.

A unique blend of expertise

James Banks, who was recently recognized as the CS2 Talent of the Year for 2024, is well-known for his work as a host and interviewer. His charismatic personality and deep passion for the game made him a fan favorite. Devilwalk, on the other hand, is a former Major champion and respected coach. In fact, he still holds the distinction of being the only person to win a CS:GO major as both a player and a coach. Together, they offer a unique blend of media and competitive experience. Not to mention their apparent chemistry.

The duo previously collaborated on Bad News Eagles. The organization-less Kosovar project had James Banks serving as the General Manager, with Devilwalk joining later as a coach. More recently, the two worked together on the Evelone Duo Cup broadcast.

Kicking off the podcast, Banks recalls how the Duo Cup opportunity came about thanks to a suggestion from a family member. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov then played a role in the story, connecting Banks and Evelone. Eventually, realizing that a solo cast wouldn't be nearly as interesting for himself or the audience, Banks brought in Devilwalk with an out-of-the-blue midnight message.

All About Counter-Strike Podcast - Episode 1

Episode 1, which is now available on YouTube, starts off with the two discussing the Evelone Cup. m0NESY and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets comfortably swept the event, earning a cool $120,000 along the way. But for Devilwalk, it was also an intriguing showcase for talents such as Maxim “kyousuke” Lukin.

How kyousuke and Baz reacted to their prize winnings

In the first 20 minutes alone, the show gives us a taste of the best of both our hosts. Banks brings his knack for extracting the storylines, while Devilwalk draws from his experience and technical know-how. The episode then goes into new advancements in CS2 movement tech, which can give an extra 13% speed. As Banks explains, the tech plays a part in how donk and other young stars are extracting the maximum performance from CS2.

Other topics covered in the first episode of All About Counter-Strike Podcast, included the BLAST Bounty Season 1, Train's return, and the VRS Ranking. Nearly 2 hours in length, the podcast offers plenty of content and entertainment for the CS2 fan.

The Counter-Strike content space is lucky enough to have a handful of podcasts regularly putting out episodes. But where All About Counter-Strike stands apart is combining the entertainment value with Devilwalk's inherent technical and tactical prowess.
