What is the tournament format?
The Esports World Cup has a brutal format that will punish teams that do not perform well at this event. The tournament has three stages - the Opening stage, Play-In Stage, and the Playoffs.
The Opening stage has a single-elimination bracket where all matches are best-of-three series. The winners advance to the Playoffs while the losers move to the Play-In Stage.
The Play-In Stage has a single-elimination bracket (Again). But this time, the matches are best-of-one series. The winner of this series advances to the Playoffs.

What is the tournament Prize Pool and results?
The Esports World Cup has a million-dollar prize pool where the top team receives $400,000 in prize money. The second-place team has $175,000 in prize money while the next two teams get $85,000 in prize money.
