Elisa Masters Espoo Matchups

The Elisa Masters Espoo kicks off on November 29 with eight teams competing on LAN. Today, the organizer announced the first matchups starting with an ENCE vs HAVU kickoff at 13 EET. However, the more interesting matchup is the one between FURIA and Complexity on Day 2. The North American derby will be an exciting one to watch for CS2 fans.

The team distribution by groups is as follows:

Group A

  • ENCE
  • Fnatic
  • GamerLegion
  • HAVU

Group B

  • Apeks
  • Complexity
  • FURIA esports
  • MOUZ

Initial matchups

Group A

  • ENCE vs HAVU ( November 29)
  • GamerLegion vs Complexity ( November 29)

Group B

  • MOUZ vs Apeks ( November 30)
  • FURIA vs Complexity ( November 30)

The last time the two teams met each other was at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. Complexity won the match 2-1 and eventually went on to win the entire event cementing their place at the Fall Finals.

The Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 features a double-elimination group stage. The eight teams form two groups of four teams each and only the top two teams make it to the playoffs. With the winner getting half of the $200,000 prize pool, there’s a lot at stake in this tournament.

With Counter-Strike 2’s release, there has been an upheaval when it comes to the team rankings and performances. Teams are still undergoing roster changes and that impacts their overall performance and results. More recently, Fnatic parted ways with Mezii and fans can expect a few roster additions before the start of this event later this month.
