CS2 is bringing a new tournament to DreamHack Stockholm, giving players a chance at some unique prizes.

Everyone loves a new tournament, whether it's esports, sports or chess. DreamHack has paved the way for unique tournaments for years now within the esports space, and the popular organization just announced a brand new tournament for DreamHack Stockholm, called DreamHack Knockout, which features Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).

Here is everything we know about the upcoming DreamHack Knockout tournament.

New DreamHack Knockout tournament announced for CS2 players, featuring huge prize pool and more

Ready for a brand new DreamHack tournament? The organization recently announced DreamHack Knockout, which is set to be featured at DreamHack Stockholm, taking place from November 28 to November 30, 2025, and will feature the famous shooter, CS2.

The tournament is a knockout series (yes, that was probably easy to figure out), where teams will run through a tournament bracket and participate in best-of-three matches. The winner of these best-of-three will move on to the next round and so on.

This is a huge opportunity for CS2 players, as DreamHack is allowing anyone to participate; all you have to do is get your pass here. Hurry, though, as they will sell out quickly.

Prizes

You can't have a massive DreamHack tournament without a prize pool. DreamHack has been around for years now, giving small up-and-coming esports players some of the best opportunities in the industry.

So, those looking to compete in the event will be happy to know that DreamHack is putting up a $10,000 prize pool. However, that is not where the fun ends, as the organization also announced that the top teams will get an invite to season 23 of the ESL Pro League, giving them a shot at making it to the big leagues.

This will be a huge event for those participating in Stockholm and will more than likely be followed up by other DreamHack events around the world.
