How to get the knife you want in Counter-Strike 2 with Trade-Ups

Counter-Strike 2 added Trade-Ups recently. While it may seem random at first, the Trade-Up mechanic in CS2 is anything but. Here's how you can control the feature to get the CS2 knife of your dreams.

This update, which makes getting knives easier, has caused an uproar in the community. You may have seen memes on Reddit or seen your favorite streamer or content creator talk about it. But you, the regular CS2 player, can now get the knife you want without breaking the bank.

A user by the name of kTk- figured out how to guarantee a butterfly knife. According to his findings, trading up an M4A1-S Cyrex and a P90 Asiimov would result in a guaranteed butterfly knife from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case.

Note that float values of the skins you trade in will also affect the floats and wear condition of the resulting skin.

kTk-'s findings also included some combination of skins that you can trade to increase your chances of getting a karambit. Unfortunately, no way to guarantee it has been found.
