An error from Karrigan sends FaZe Clan into an elimination series, as Team Falcons secure the win.
Day one of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 has been epic, but we close things out from Copenhagen, Denmark, with a cracking matchup.
FaZe Clan and Team Falcons go head-to-head for the first time since PGL Bucharest 2025. With a best-of-three series on the cards, both teams will be looking to start on the front foot.
FaZe look to finally bring down Falcons once more
Overall FaZe has won 3 out of the last 5 head-to-head matches between the two teams.
Falcons have won the last two - PGL Bucharest and PGL Cluj-Napoca.
Players to look out for: Magisk and frozen.
Falcons have had a decent opening to 2025. With two second-place finishes, including the most recent at IEM Melbourne 2025, the team is hoping to return to their PGL Bucharest 2025 high.
With their biggest roster move recently being the inclusion of Ilya “m0NESY”, Falcons is determined to soar at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
On the other side of the coin, FaZe has not had the greatest start to the year. While PGL Bucharest did see them off in third place, the recent trip to Australia was far from clean.
Unfortunately, looking back at PGL Cluj-Napoca, FaZe were unable to make a dent in Falcons' armor, which will be on the back of their minds. However, they will be ready to fight back after Falcons ruined their dreams in two separate events.
Both teams will be hungry for that early step in the right direction at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. But the Falcons certainly have the advantage, with the better form following IEM Melbourne.
That said, the two teams are ranked one behind the other, with Falcons slightly edging out FaZe for eighth overall on the HLTV rankings. They will be looking to pull further ahead in a tough Group B, where Team Spirit and FlyQuest are both waiting in the wings for their chance to take them down.

Highlights
M0nesy kicked things off strong for Falcons with a triple kill in the pistol round. This led to 4 dominant rounds back-to-back until FaZe finally got themselves on the board. Constantly, the slow pace of execution for FaZe was their downfall. Elige finally came to life late in the first half of Dust 2, but it was not enough. Falcons cruised to a 13-6 match one win.
With the map changing over to Ancient, we finally got to see some decent form from FaZe. While Falcons still claimed the first 4 rounds, FaZe began to find their footing. Broky’s near clutch in a 1v4 situation proved this, but it remained 6-6 at the swap.
Much like in Dust 2, Elige finally began to find some life after the half-time switch, and this gave FaZe the lead for the first time in the match. Unfortunately, a simple mistake from Karrigan gifted a round back to Falcons.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
From 8-10 down, Falcons managed to recover and turn things around, securing a 2-0 match win, with the final score at 13-10. The victory takes the PGL Bucharest champions into an upper-bracket showdown with Team Spirit. For FaZe, it is back to the drawing board tonight, before they face an elimination matchup against FlyQuest.
