MW3 Ranked Play Mode will arrive mid-Season One according to Sledgehammer’s Greg Reisdorf. Developer Treyarch will be behind it.
You may think that MW3 having a Ranked Mode at launch would be a given, but it appears the mode will be arriving mid-season One of the upcoming Sledgehammer Games title. This is not an unfamiliar scenario, as ranked play did not arrive in MW2 until five months after its launch.
"Our friends at Treyarch are on the case again with Ranked Play. They do a fantastic job, we love partnership with them on it. They are going to bring that experience, update and modernise it from Modern Warfare 2," said Greg Reisdorf, Multiplayer Creative Director at Sledgehammer Games, on panel at Call of Duty Next 2023.
