Here’s what you need to know about the Black Ops 6 open beta!

The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta has taken the world by storm ahead of the game's Oct. 25 release date. Players have mostly enjoyed what Treyarch put together, especially with the human shield mechanic. Unfortunately, the early access beta will expire soon, but that's not the last you will see of the game. A COD Black Ops 6 open beta period follows afterward, and the dates alongside everything else you might need.

The early access portion of this pre-release event expires on Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. ET. Then, the COD Black Ops 6 open beta dates begin on Sept. and end on Sept. 9. Based on the image above, the game will likely go offline for all of Sept. 5 before going live the following day. For those who missed the first six days, this is your chance to try the game before it launches worldwide.

Although the timing isn't clear, based on the early access beta, it should go live around 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 6. However, we expect to learn more over the next few days.

Unquestionably, the best part of the COD Blacks Ops 6 open beta is that you do not need a pre-order to participate. Even better is that it's available on all platforms. Given the positive response, anyone remotely interested in the Call of Duty series or first-person shooters may want to check it out. Otherwise, you will have to wait until Oct. 25 to get your hands on the game.

Some of the standout aspects of the COD Black Ops 6 beta include the maps and time-to-kill (TTK). If you happen to play the game, you can start emulating the settings of players Scump and Shotzzy to give yourself a chance to dominate.
