A new Gundam event is coming to Call of Duty in Season 4.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone continue to carry the Activision Blizzard FPS franchise forward for the time being. And with Season 4 launching on May 29, there is plenty for players to get excited about in this latest set of Call of Duty patch notes.
Call of Duty Season 4 Patch Notes: MW3
In Season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, players can expect new maps, modes, weapons, and so much more. A summary of the main points of these patch notes can be seen below, immediately followed by the changes coming to Warzone in Season 4.

As you can see in the above graphic, there is a lot for players to get excited about in these extensive patch notes. Outside of the expected modes and weapon additions, there is a new Mobile Suit Gundam Legends event coming to MW3, alongside a few others.
According to devs, "Embrace the awesome power of Mobile Suits! Earn XP to unlock Gundam themed rewards. Equip the RX-78-2 Gundam, MS-06S Zaku II, or XVX-016 Gundam Aerial skins for a boost."
Outside of adding a lot of new elements, there is also a serious consideration towards balancing and quality of life in this patch. One of the things players should feel or, hear, most is the reduction in footstep noise.
Last season, we made several adjustments to Perks to distribute usage in the Boots category more evenly. Despite these changes, the pick rate of Covert Sneakers remains far ahead of other Boots.
In today’s update, our Design and Audio teams have decreased the volume of all footstep types (walk, sprint, and tac-sprint) to encourage more diverse usage in the Boots category of Perks.
Players can also expect big adjustments to Zombies gameplay, a lot of improvements to UI, and nerfs/buffs to guns like the BP50, Rival-9, and FJX Horus. All in all, this patch is a massive one and well worth checking out.
