Here’s what the two-time major championship winner had to say about the signing.
Prediction market platform Kalshi has signed professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau as its first-ever athlete and ambassador.
Kalshi signs Bryson DeChambeau
On Jan. 14, Kalshi posted about its signing of DeChambeau. According to the announcement, the professional golfer and two-time major championship winner will integrate Kalshi markets into his content for millions of fans in an industry-first partnership.
The announcement featured a quote from DeChambeau himself as well.
"Kalshi is building something completely different," he said. "As the world’s largest prediction market and one of the fastest-growing companies in the world, Kalshi is creating a fun and more engaging experience for people to predict and forecast the future."
Kalshi and the NHL
Much like online casino platforms that create interactive experiences for users, Kalshi is focused on engaging fans. This DeChambeau and Kalshi announcement also arrived a few months after the NHL named Kalshi and Polymarket as official prediction market partners of the league.
According to the press release from October 2025, the agreements provide Kalshi and Polymarket access to the NHL's proprietary data and rights to use NHL marks, logos, and official designations on their products and platforms.
Keith Wachtel, the NHL president of business, said that these partnerships lead to broad fan engagement, too.
“As prediction markets continue to evolve at a rapid pace, partnering with the two market leaders, Kalshi and Polymarket, provides a tremendous opportunity for the broadest fan engagement during the NHL season,” he said. “Polymarket and Kalshi are ideal partners as this category continues to grow and expand.”
Tarek Mansour, the CEO of Kalshi, also shared some thoughts.
"Teaming up with the NHL is an important milestone for Kalshi and the industry at large," he said. "To have a league like the NHL embrace Kalshi is a testament to the integrity, safety, and trust with consumers that Kalshi has spent years building during our time pioneering this asset class. It should be clear now -- prediction markets are here to stay."
