“In the world of iGaming, we also deal with large amounts of data, adjust solutions in real time, and rely on teamwork.”
F1: The Movie has just arrived in theaters and tells the story of Sonny Hayes, one of Formula 1's most promising drivers until an accident derailed his career. Thirty years later, he returns to the scene as a mentor to a team of underdogs. SOFTSWISS, a company that provides software for the iGaming industry, recently supported the movie through exclusive premiere screenings.

F1 movie gets support from iGaming industry
SOFTSWISS recently rolled out the red carpet for its partners and clients in Malta and São Paulo. Invited guests not only got to watch F1: The Movie, but also enjoy the event's Hollywood-inspired glitz and glamour. That included champagne towers and photo zones where they took photos. However, perhaps the most interesting part of these premiere screenings was the personal video greeting from Rubens Barrichello, who's a former Formula 1 driver and a current SOFTSWISS partner.
According to an official announcement, the video featured Barrichello sharing how F1: The Movie reflects his background in racing and his present involvement in the technology industry.

Ahead of the movie's screenings, Barrichello also shared a reaction video on YouTube. There, he talked about the parallels between Formula 1 and the iGaming industry.
"In the world of iGaming, we also deal with large amounts of data, adjust solutions in real time, and rely on teamwork," Barrichello said. "Just as a driver trusts engineers and mechanics, we trust our developers and analysts. Both worlds share the same values, and I am happy to be part of each of them."
The official announcement added that SOFTSWISS teamed up with him to better connect with people in Latin America. As the company's non-executive director for the region, he plays a key role in the business' growth.
