Evolution has become the exclusive online casino partner for Hasbro, the owners of Monopoly and other games.
Evolution AB and Hasbro have announced an exclusive partnership that shores up the future for Hasbro's online casino portfolio. The agreement permits Evolution to exclusively develop and publish online casino games under the Hasbro brand, which includes the rights to use Monopoly and other games that Hasbro owns.
This partnership is a continuation of Evolution and Hasbro's working relationship, as Evolution has been responsible for helping to develop several casino games using Monopoly assets over the past couple of years. This includes titles like Monopoly Live, which is a wheel-based casino game that features a live dealer where you can win prizes based on what you spin on a wheel.
While, of course, these games don't offer a classic Monopoly experience, they do incorporate elements of the iconic board game. Other titles like Monopoly Big Baller, which Evolution also developed, do the same and have performed well in the online casino space. Due to that success and its relationship with Evolution, Hasbro conducted a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to officially partner up with the company.
"After a thorough RFP process, we’ve chosen Evolution as our exclusive partner for online live casino and online slots for Hasbro Games titles," Hasbro's director of gaming relationships, Clair Hunter Gregon, stated. "We trust them to bring our brands to life in fresh, exciting ways for our adult fans and look forward to our partnership.”

With an exclusive partnership now in place, Evolution should be able to continue and evolve its development of industry-leading casino games. The company is looking to focus on Monopoly, which Evolution's chief product officer, Todd Haushalter, called the "world’s best casino game brand," but now it has access to Hasbro's entire library of brands. This opens up many possibilities for Evolution moving forward.
Hasbro owns brands such as Yahtzee, Battleship, and even Dungeons & Dragons. Evolution will now be able to develop online casino games using these brands, but it can also use the brands in promotional ways. Collaborations with these brands in a Monopoly-based casino game are now possible, so there's no telling what Evolution will be able to come up with.
At this time, all we know is that the agreement between Evolution and Hasbro is a "multi-year deal." The agreement is in effect now, but Evolution is said not to be releasing new online casino games using Hasbro brands until January 2026. From there, the company is planning to launch games such as Monopoly Roulette and Monopoly Filthy Rich.
