Esports betting has been making crazy numbers over the past few years with many experts expecting it to continue skyrocketing.

We live in a crazy world. Who would have thought 20 years ago that esports betting would be so huge? With such a big market, though, betting on popular competitive video game tournaments has become huge. So huge that the esports betting market is expected to hit close to $3 billion in revenue by the end of 2025.

Esports betting will hit close to $3 billion in revenue this year, astronomically expanding its market

Gambling has been around since the dawn of man. From casinos to sports betting, finding ways to place bets and make a quick buck (or lose quite a bit) is a concept everyone is familiar with. However, with esports gaining so much traction since COVID, the esports betting market has been expanding too.

In fact, it has been expanding so much that professionals expect the industry to hit close to $3 billion in revenue by the end of 2025, which is a massive feat for the industry.

With the year only halfway finished, professionals have claimed that the esports betting industry will more than likely land at around $2.8 billion in revenue by the end of the year. Of course, this is speculation, but it is also supported by various analytics, meaning it is more than likely going to be accurate.

However large a number this may seem, many believe that the industry's growth will be astronomical over the years.

Esports betting expected to hit massive numbers by 2029

Many industry experts are projecting the numbers to continue growing at an alarming rate. In fact, by 2026, it is expected that the market will surpass $3 billion in revenue. Insanely large number, right?

Well, it does not stop there, as esports betting professionals have been projecting numbers like crazy. Many believe that by 2029, the industry will have reached over $3.5 billion in revenue.

These numbers continue to skyrocket due to the legalization of esports betting happening everywhere, helping to expand the market quickly.
