Veteran Filipino streamer Banoobs unveils YGS Live, a new livestream hub for PAGCOR-licensed iGaming content

iGaming enthusiasts in the Philippines finally get a new home on YGS Live.

Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, a seasoned gaming streamer and esports personality in the Philippines, launches YGS Live, a new platform for sharing content that features PAGCOR-licensed games.

Banoobs mentioned that his goal for YGS Live is to serve as a place where Filipino streamers and creators would grow, collaborate, and elevate the iGaming space responsibly, making the Philippines a global leader in the industry.

He also reiterated that the platform will specifically feature PAGCOR-licensed games, highlighting titles recognized and authorized by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, the government-owned body that regulates casinos and other games of chance.

Banoobs Kicks Off Battle of the Streamers, a new iGaming Showdown on YGS Live

Together with his announcement about YGS Live, Banoobs also revealed a program on the platform called Battle of the Streamers, where various Filipino iGaming streamers and influencers will compete with each other for a prize pool of PHP 11 million (US$186,000).

Some of the iGaming personalities that will participate in the program include Hypebits, AkosiDogie, BULLDOG, Foreigngerms, ChooxTV, and AD BEAT.

To make the program more engaging, the organizers will also reward its viewers with prizes, which are valued at around PHP 3 million.

Battle of the Streamers kicked off on November 15 and will run every Saturday until its grand finale in January 2026, with all matches held at City of Dreams Manila.

Who is Banoobs?

A veteran figure in the Philippine’s esports community, Banoobs once worked with major organizations, such as Mineski, Ampverse, and Blacklist International. He became renowned for being one of the pioneers for advocating esports as a profession in the country.

Banoobs has also helped many Filipino esports players secure visas so they could compete internationally. One of these teams was TNC Pro Team, who went on to deliver one of the most memorable upsets in Dota 2 history by eliminating powerhouse squad OG in the lower bracket of The International 2016.
