Zer0, along with Team Liquid Alienware, were eliminated at the earliest possible moment at the ALGS Year 5 champs.

One of the most successful Apex Legends pros of all time, Rhys "Zer0" Perry and Team Liquid were among those who were culled early at the ALGS Year 5 Championship bracket stage.

Team Liquid fail to overcome first elimination match in ALGS Year 5 Champs

The lower bracket semifinal took the teams in the bottom half of the standings by the end of the group stage of ALGS Year 5 Championship and pitted them in elimination matches.

Since Team Liquid Alienware placed 29th out of 40 in the group stage, they found themselves among the first teams up for culling.

TL had a rocky start to the series. For their first three maps, they were one of the first teams taken down by the lobby. Things started looking up for them in the next couple of maps, and they even found a win in map 5.

By this point, it looked like Zer0 and his squad were going to make it. However, in the series closer, they placed 19th. Team Liquid only accumulated 31 points, meaning they were among the first 10 teams eliminated from ALGS Year 5 Champs.
