With the release of the Kill Code Part 4 lore cinematic, Apex Legends has concluded the Kill Code storyline. Read the full breakdown here.

The Apex Legends Kill Code saga feels like it's been going on forever now. Even though it's only three major episodes so far, it includes a lot of lore content and progression between some characters and their interpersonal relationships. Of course, We're talking about Loba, Revenant, and Valkyrie here. They finally released the Kill Code Part 4 lore cinematic across Apex Legends socials, and this part concludes the Kill Code saga. However, contrary to player expectations, the latest Kill Code cinematic didn't conclude the tension between Revenant and Loba. At least, not in the way we thought it would.

Recently, the Apex Legends channels dropped a short cinematic teaser for Kill Code Part 4. In the cinematic, Loba was finally pushed to the point of an ultimatum. Until that point, she stubbornly insisted on keeping Revenant alive just so he could continue to suffer for killing her parents.

Revenant himself claimed to want to die. He gave her a choice. It was her life or his, insinuating that her stubbornness was only causing her own life to fall apart — which, truthfully, it was. Kill Code Part 4 added yet another twist into this development, and it looks like we might never see the end of the Loba-Revenant drama now.

Kill Code Part 4 begins with the Apex Legends gang fighting its way into Duardo Silva's facility to reach Revenant's head. It appears Loba has agreed to work with everyone to destroy Revenant's mainframe for good. They reach Duardo's office and Revenant threatens him to give up his mainframe, which he does.

He grabs it and passes it on to Loba, who nods and begins prodding at it with her Staff to destroy it. As she's about to do so, Duardo tries to convince Revenant to keep himself alive and describes the kind of power he'll have if he chooses to do so. Revenant obliges and kicks Loba away from the back just as she's about to take a final stab at the mainframe and kill him.

Duardo claims they'll now have control of everything. Revenant uses his mainframe to control all the Revenant clones and has one of them stab Duardo, killing him, to Octane's horror and sadness. He announces that he only wants control over himself and his clone army. The Revenant clones are unleashed on the Legends, who make a break for the ship they arrived in. They manage to escape as Revenant stares, menacingly.

Duardo Silva's villainy comes to an end

With betraying Loba after she finally came around to ending his life, it appears that saga is going to continue. Loba certainly won't let this go anytime soon.

However, we did get an end to another saga as Duardo Silva is now dead. He had taken control of the Apex Games from the Syndicate earlier and was always plotting sinister schemes with the legends. Duardo was Octane's grandfather in his father's body and always manipulated Octane. With him gone, it'll be interesting to see where Revenant's villain arc takes him and who gains control over the Apex Games in the future.
