VALORANT is a multi-platform title now, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there is cross-platform play available between them all.
VALORANT is officially on more than one platform. The Riot Games first-person shooter got its start on PC, but has now made its way to consoles. You can dive in on your computer, Xbox Series X/S, or PlayStation 5. So, with that in mind, is VALORANT cross-platform?
The straightforward answer is only between consoles. You'll probably never see cross-platform play between console and PC. This comes straight from the maker, as their many question-and-answer blogs about VALORANT on console state as much.
Will VALORANT ever be cross-platform?
It hasn't been absolutely, positively ruled out, but Riot Games will more than likely never enable cross-platform between VALORANT console and VALORANT PC. They're vastly different in terms of mechanics, and the reason is that it would jeopardize competitive integrity.
If you are an Xbox or PlayStation user, you are more than welcome to join a party or queue into a game against someone on the other console. You just won't ever find yourself in a match with someone on PC, no matter how hard you try.

Does VALORANT have cross-progression between console and PC?
The good news is that you can switch back and forth if you want to jump into a console game after a few rounds on PC. Just make sure your console is linked to your Riot Games account. You'll be prompted to do so the first time you launch VALORANT on your console of choice.
It isn't cross-platform VALORANT, but it is cross-progression. Your account level, Battle Pass progress, and all of your cosmetics carry over. Your Competitive rank does not, however. The rank and MMR is separate between console and PC.
