The Outlaw is the new sniper rifle coming to VALORANT that is sure to pack a punch, all behind a simple mid-tier price point.

As with most upcoming content in VALORANT, the Outlaw was leaked well in advance. We saw glimpses of a new sniper rifle, the first new weapon ever added to the FPS. And now Riot Games has confirmed its arrival along with all of its details.

What is the Outlaw in VALORANT?

While many weapons have had tweaks to balance them in VALORANT's short life, there has not been a new weapon added to the game. Sure, we've seen plenty of new maps and Agents, but a weapon would almost certainly change the meta right away.

It looks like that will be the case with the Outlaw. It is a high impact, double-barreled sniper rifle that Riot Games built for do-or-die playmaking. Those with pinpoint accuracy with benefit greatly with VALORANT's new sniper.

Here's everything from in-game price to how the weapon works:

  • It is a semi-automatic sniper rifle with two slugs in each magazine.
  • While the Marshal and Operator break zoom while firing, you can stay zoomed in with the Outlaw.
  • The Outlaw has separate reload timings, thus it reloads quicker if only one bullet was used, but take longer if two bullets were fired.
  • The weapon is positioned between the Marshal and the Operator in the Buy Menu and costs 2,400 credits.
