VALORANT plays quite differently on console, which makes the best available Agents one you might not expect.
It is clear that VALORANT on PC and console are two completely separate beasts. The mouse and keyboard operates much does than the controller. That means the best VALORANT Agents on PC might be different than those on console.
5 best Agents to play in VALORANT for console
Here are the five best VALORANT Agents for console, in no particular order, and why:
Chamber
Chamber has made a resurgence with VALORANT's arrival on console. If you aren't confident in your mouse skills, you can jump onto Xbox of PlayStation where using the Operator with a controller might feel much easier to you.
His abilities are pretty simple to understand, and just about every map in the game has an area where you can hold it down with the Op. You should have no problem top fragging in console ranked with this VALORANT Agent.
KAY/O
We heard from TenZ during VCT Americas about his time on console. He says Agents with flashing abilities are some of the best in VALORANT. You can't flick away with a controller like you can with a mouse.
That makes flashing characters, such as KAY/O, very strong. Take his flashbang and pop it around a corner, push out, and take out the opposition. You'll find an enemy either turning back towards you or just fully flashed.

Breach
Breach is another flash-capable VALORANT Agent that is one of the best on console. Like KAY/O, he has two flashes, but he doesn't need to throw them. He can send them through walls, which makes pushing in and punishing opponents very simple.
On top of that, stunning is incredibly powerful on console. This goes back to the whole ease of flicking conversation mentioned earlier. His Fault Line and Rolling Thunder can make it almost impossible for players to aim properly, giving you easy kills or assists.
Reyna
The instalock issue is tenfold with Reyna on console. She's just plain good, though. The buffs that arrived late in Episode 8 made her more useful, and on console, Reyna reigns supreme.
Because of the difference between console and PC, you don't have to be the most cracked player of all time to make her work. Just toss out a Leer, hit your shots, get out of there with Dismiss or heal with Devour. And repeat.
Sage
Sage is one of the best VALORANT Agents on console due to everyone playing like aggressive lunatics. She's perfect on offense or defense, but of course it depends on the map. When your teammates push, you can heal. Or you can even stop them from doing so with a wall.
The same goes for the enemy team. Frustrate the aggro players with a wall or a slow orb. They'll give up their position shooting the wall or try and rush through the slow field only to be decimated on the other side.
