As you grind through The First Descendant, you'll eventually reach its max level. From collecting records to stopping the Vulgus threat, soon enough, you will hit level 40. Thankfully, that's not where the game and the grind ends.
What is the max level you can reach in The First Descendant?
As mentioned, the maximum level is 40 in The First Descendant. You won't be able to get there rapidly, but you can certainly do some things to level up faster. There's plenty of story to enjoy on your way to that level 40 cap.
Why level 40? Who knows why it is the max level in The First Descendant. That's what NEXON chose and that's the goal we have to reach because of it. You will absolutely hit it before you reach any sort of stopping point in the game, so you'll need to find other things to do.
