Perform the secret action to get some free Diamonds in 99 Nights in the Forest.
One of 99 Nights in the Forests’ achievements, called Humiliation, has a vague task description that baffles many players, as it requires them to perform a specific “secret action.”
Other than surviving as many nights as possible, another gameplay mechanic that players can work on in the game is unlocking all the achievements — either for the purpose of earning bragging rights or earning free Diamonds.
So, if you’re one of those players struggling to complete the Humiliation achievement, here’s what the secret action means and how you can do it easily.
What is the secret action in 99 Nights in the Forest?
For the Humiliation achievement, the secret action that players need to perform is to die from a Bear Trap.
Some players, especially the newbies, might have already unlocked this achievement by accident, but if you’re the type that rarely makes mistakes in the game, you’ll likely never suspect that this is the actual secret action.
Just like other achievements, the Humiliation achievement rewards the player with a badge, as well as four Diamonds.
How to perform the secret action quickly
You can actually do this secret action as early as Day 1, although keep in mind that your goal is to die in-game, so you better do this solo to avoid annoying other players.
At the start of the game, try to work on your campfire until it reaches at least level 3. Then, go farm some logs and scraps to upgrade your Crafting Bench to Tier 2. This way, you’ll gain instant access to the Bear Trap item.
Go outside to collect some scraps. Don’t worry if you need to do this on the first night, as you won’t get attacked by the Deer this time. A Bear Trap costs three scraps, so once you get enough scraps to craft a Bear Trap or two, go back to your camp.
Set up the Bear Traps anywhere and go outside again to find a wolf. Let the wolf reduce your HP until you’re one hit away from being dead. Walk over to the Bear Traps you set, and voila, you just completed the secret action.
You can then show off this achievement to other players so they can see the Humiliation badge, although it doesn’t come with any in-game advantages.
