How do you get Volt and Blaze Fusion Energy in Pokémon GO?

Pokémon GO's Unova Tour, both in-person and Global brings the rollout of the two Fusion forms of Kyurem. To Fuse Kyurem with either Reshiram or Zekrom in Pokémon GO you will need either 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy or 1000 Volt Fusion Energy. In addition, you'll need 30 Kyurem Candy and 30 Zekrom or Reshiram Candy.

This is a brand new resource in Pokémon GO, and you will need to gather enough Fusion Energy either at the in-person Tour events in New Taipei City and Los Angeles, or across the weekend of Mar. 1-2 during the Global Unova Tour. Without the required Fusion Energy, you cannot obtain either of these two powerful Pokémon in Pokémon GO.

So, here is how you can get both Volt and Blaze Fusion energy in Pokémon GO.

There are currently three ways to get Blaze Fusion Energy and Volt Fusion Energy in Pokémon GO:

All Trainers will get enough Fusion Energy from the free Research given out during Pokémon GO Tour Unova's Global event from either the Blaze or Volt path. Trainers who attend the Tour in-person will have additional research from their Park Experience day.

In addition, Trainers can then gather as much Volt Fusion Energy or Blaze Fusion energy as they desire from Raids. You cannot get this Energy from Remote Raids at the in-person events unless you have the ticket.

But for Global, both in-person or Remote Raids will award energy depending which Fusion form you take down. This works like Mega Energy. The faster you beat the Raid, the more Fusion Energy you get. Expect to get from 80-110 Energy per Raid.

That means after about 10-15 Raids, you can have enough Fusion Energy to Fuse Kyurem with either Reshiram or Zekrom.

Between all these methods, you should be able to get both Kyurem Fusion forms in Pokémon GO.
