League of Legends patch 13.4 will be rolled out to the public on February 23. Riot Games is back on track with its patch schedule and players will be excited to hear what is in store for this patch.

It has been an unpleasant time for Riot Games as of late. With the cyber attacks getting in the way of a major champion rework, it is impressive Riot has been able to keep on schedule with things. That being said, the show must go on, and Riot intends on sticking with its 2023 schedule. This starts with League of Legends patch 13.4. Here is everything you need to know so far.

League of Legends patch 13.4 release date

Although patch 13.3 - which came with the huge rework to Aurelion Sol, was pushed back by two days, there has been no word from Riot on patch 13.4 being delayed. League of Legends patch 13.4 will be rolled out to the public on February 23.

For everyone involved in League of Legends, it is nice to see normality returning. On January 20, Riot Games announced that they have suffered a social engineering attack. This lead the development team to act quickly and move patches into 13.1b - a hotfix to make sure the game is still running as intended.

What changes are coming in 13.4?

Although the full patch notes are not available yet, as is the case with every patch, the Lead Designer for League of Legends Riot Phroxzon announced what would be coming to 13.4. With the 'tools' becoming more stable, said Phroxzon, a lot of champions will see buffs and nerfs in the upcoming patch. 21 in fact at the time of writing this article.

Riot Phroxzon stated the theme of this patch is to put a heavy focus on ranged supports vs melee supports. Along with changes to the bot lane, Phroxzon stated there are too many champions right now that are benefiting too much from early snowballing, meaning when they get ahead early, they are more powerful than they should be at that stage.
