Acacia is an early resource you can harvest in Skull and Bones, but it will certainly be valuable no matter how infamous you have become.

You'll find that Skull and Bones requires a bit more than just captaining a pirate ship and looting outposts. There are resources to gather, blueprints to craft from, and much more to discover. One important early game resource is Acacia, which we'll walk you through how to harvest in Skull and Bones.

How to get Acacia in Skull and Bones

There are a couple of ways you can get your hands on Acacia in Skull and Bones. Let's go over them:

The first and most common method is to harvest the resource. Here's how to do so:

  1. Craft a Saw at the Carpenter on Sainte-Anne
  2. Locate Acacia on your map, noted with an icon of a bushy tree
  3. Mark the location so you can easily navigate to it on your ship
  4. Sail to the marked location with the resource
  5. Press the prompt to Harvest Acacia when it appears
  6. Complete the mini game to acquire Acacia

There are a couple of important things to take note of here. If another player has already harvested the Acacia at the location you've gone to, you'll have to wait for it to respawn or travel elsewhere.

As well, Skull and Bones provides an Auto Harvest feature in the Gameplay settings. This removes the mini game event when harvesting resources like Acacia. You will still have to wait for the harvesting to complete, and it will be much slower and provide less resources than if you did it manually.

Loot the resource from the open sea

This method of obtaining Acacia in Skull and Bones is more luck-based, but can be just as rewarding:

  1. Sail your ship towards Acacia resource nodes
  2. If another player has already been there and perhaps grabbed too much, they may have dropped some overboard
  3. Sail near the Acacia floating in the ocean and interact with it to add it to your inventory

How to use Acacia in Skull and Bones

After you get a load of Acacia in Skull and Bones, you'll want to know how to use it. It is a common resource, but absolutely one of the most important in the game:

Acacia can be used in crafting a variety of items. Perhaps the most useful is the Bedar, the first ship you are required to commission during your early adventures as a pirate;

Sell it for cheap

It isn't a profitable item by any means, but if you need a bit of extra silver, it does the job. You can go to any merchant and choose to sell your Acacia in Skull and Bones. It can definitely add up if you have a lot in your inventory.

Refine Acacia into Acacia Planks

After you have harvest a bundle of Acacia, consider going to the Refinery on Saint-Anne. This shop lets you turn basic resources into more useful versions. Acacia can be refined here into Acacia Planks, which open the door for better ships, weapons, and tools that require the planks to craft.
