The Shipwrecked Shallows location in Fortnite has finally spawned in!
It's a Pirates of the Caribbean takeover in Fortnite. The long-awaited "Cursed Sails" event has finally arrived, bringing an event pass, Pirates characters like Jack Sparrow, and new in-game items. Long-time players may remember Lazy Lagoon–a legendary point of interest (POI) from Chapter 1. Epic Games has somewhat reinvented Lazy Lagoon in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 with Shipwreck Shallows. This guide explains where you can find the new Pirates POI.
Where is Shipwreck Shallows in Fortnite?
You can find Shipwrecked Shallows smack-dab in the middle of the current Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map, as indicated above. The POI is small, all things considered, but it has its perks and closely resembles Lazy Lagoon from previous Fortnite seasons.
From an aesthetic standpoint, you will find a massive ghostly pirate ship offering various Chests and loot. Additionally, you can find the new Mythic Ship in a Bottle item, Flint-Knock Pistols, and plenty of Gold bars. You will see various sunken ships and a collection of houses on the west side of Fortnite's Shipwrecked Shallows.

Quests you can complete at the new Pirates POI
Beyond the location itself, Shipwrecked Shallows is where you will want to begin your journey. Using the POI's pirate ship, you can complete the "Walk the Plank" Quest. Furthermore, your best bet to find the new Ship in a Bottle Mythic item is at Shipwrecked Shallows.
Various pirate chests in and around the ship contain the Ship in a Bottle and Flint-Knock Pistols. You can use the Flint-Knock Pistol to complete the "Hit an opponent with a single pistol shot" Quest. Overall, Shipwrecked Shallows has a lot to offer Fortnite players. It may not be the best POI on the map, but it's worth visiting to complete these challenges at a minimum.
