Trying to compete in the Fortnite PlayStation Cup?

Fortnite has quite the focus on competitive, but what about those competing solely on PlayStation? Well, luckily Fortnite has been hosting various PlayStation Cups throughout the years. But when will the next Fortnite PlayStation Cup Finals be?

While the qualifiers for both the Battle Royale and Zero Build PlayStation Cups are taking place this week, the Finals have been moved to a later date.

Fortnite PlayStation Cup Finals dates

The Fortnite PlayStation Cup Finals for Zero Build and Battle Royale have been rescheduled for June 29 and June 30.

Fortnite PlayStation Cup Finals (Zero Build) date:

  • June 29

Fortnite PlayStation Cup Finals (Battle Royale) date:

  • June 30

So how do Fortnite competitors qualify for finals?

PlayStation Cup Qualifier dates

While two of the PlayStation Cup Qualifiers have already passed, there is still another tournament players can compete in.

Zero Build PlayStation Cup dates:

  • May 31
  • June 7

Battle Royale PlayStation Cup dates:

  • June 1
  • June 8

The only downside is the few weeks between the final qualifier and the actual finals. Players will have to use that time to VOD review, play scrims and more.

PlayStation Cup prize pool

So how big is the PlayStation Cup prize pool? With 50 teams in each game mode, both the Zero Build and Battle Royale finals will be sharing a $250,000 prize pool.

While a prize pool of this size might not be the same as FNCS prize pools, it still is a hefty sum of money for competitors to compete for. With a smaller player base, considering only PlayStation users can play, there is a much smaller competition.
