Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s newest weapon!

Fortnite has finally added the Tri Beam Laser Rifle to the Chapter 5 Season 3 loot pool. This Fallout-inspired weapon is an exciting addition, similar to the Star Wars E11 Blaster Rifle. However, this new weapon seems more powerful and accurate and might be worth carrying in Fortnite matches. Here is everything you need to know about it!

How to get the Tri Beam Laser Rifle in Fortnite

This Fallout x Fortnite weapon spawns in the Epic rarity and can be found virtually anywhere. We stumbled across the weapon lying on the ground without opening any Chests. You can also find it on the ground or by opening Chests, Drones, and Supply Drops. It's worth noting that it took us a few games to find it, but it should be a common weapon to locate regardless of the game mode.

Below, you will find a complete breakdown of the stats for the Tri Beam Laser Rifle in Fortnite:

  • Damage - 39
  • Headshot Damage - 59
  • Environment Damage - 49
  • Damage to Vehicles - 70
  • Magazine - Unlimited
  • Reload/Cooldown - 2 seconds
  • Fire Rate - 3

What does this new Fallout weapon do?

Pulled straight from Fallout: New Vegas, the Tri Beam Laser Rifle is a faithful adaptation of the source material. This new weapon is quite effective and closely related to the E11 Blaster Rifle, as mentioned earlier. You can fire this weapon infinitely, although it will enter a cooldown period once it overheats.

The accuracy and damage are reasonable, so it may be worth carrying in Chapter 5 Season 3. Given the infinite ammo aspect, it's a weapon you can pressure with easily. It may not be the best weapon this season offers, but it's a fun addition that aligns with the ongoing Fortnite x Fallout collaboration.
