Having trouble aiming? Look no further than this Fortnite weapon.
The Lock On Pistol has returned to Fortnite in a quiet update on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. First introduced in Chapter 4 Season 2, the Lock On Pistol has appeared in no other seasons until now. Lock On Pistol unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 hotfix
Epic Games has officially returned from its extended winter break. Today, the January 9 hotfix reintroduced the Lock On Pistol into the loot pool. The stats remain identical to this weapon's appearance following its launch in Chapter 4 Season 2.
The Lock On Pistol in Fortnite offers decent damage with a generous magazine size and reload time. However, nothing stands out more prominently than its Lock On capability. It tracks your enemies while aiming down sights, making it much easier to hit your target.
Here is a look at the stats for the Lock On Pistol:
- DPS: 375
- Damage: 25
- Fire Rate: 15
- Reload Time: 1.76 seconds
Where can I find this weapon in Fortnite?
The Lock On Pistol only comes in Fortnite's "Rare" rarity, meaning you will not find any Epic, Legendary, or Mythic versions with inflated stats. To find this weapon, you can look virtually anywhere, including in regular Chests, Floor Loot, Supply Drones, and Fishing Spots.
