Here’s how you can take the battlefield in Fortnite as Metallica!

Fortnite has revealed Metallica as the latest band to headline Fortnite Festival Season 4. This game mode works similarly to Guitar Hero and Rock Band, where players can jam out to their favorite songs using a controller or applicable instrument. All four Metallica members will appear in Fortnite as playable skins with this collaboration. Here's how you can unlock them.

Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield are all included in this Metallica x Fortnite crossover. The game uses each of their likenesses to make them in-game Outfits. Although you can see four in the image above, there are actually eight Metallica Fortnite skins overall. We will get to the other four shortly, but let's begin with those within the Festival Season 4 Pass.

The base set pictured above is part of the Fortnite Festival Season 4 Pass. This additional offering features a Free and Premium Track, the latter costing 1,800 V-Bucks. You can find the Lars, Robert, Kirk, and James skins in the Premium Track as unlockable rewards.

To unlock all four Metallica Fortnite skins and other rewards, purchase the Premium Track and complete Quests to earn Festival Points. Upon purchasing the Premium Track, you will instantly unlock the Lars Ulrich Outfit.

How to get the Puppet Master skins

The other four Metallica skins, dubbed "Puppet Master," are entirely separate from the Fortnite Festival Season 4 Pass. These Puppet Master variants are their own skins, which you can eventually purchase via the Item Shop, presumably beginning on June 13.

Although the cost is unknown, based on previous Fortnite Festival collaborations, we presume the skins will cost roughly 1,500 V-Bucks each. However, we plan to update this article with accurate pricing once the Metallica Fortnite skins arrive in the Item Shop.
