How can I watch the Fortnite ‘The Big Bang’ Chapter 5 live event?
The most significant Fortnite live event of the year kicks off on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET. To watch it unfold in Fortnite, you must load into the game before the start time and prepare to queue into ‘The Big Bang’ playlist. This game mode will appear in the ‘Discover’ menu 30 minutes before the Chapter 5 event begins.
This playlist is accessible to players on all Fortnite platforms, including PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Android, and Nintendo Switch. You can watch ‘The Big Bang’ Fortnite live event unfold alongside three of your friends in-game, totaling a party of four.
Epic Games has noted that this event contains flashing lights, meaning those who are photosensitive or prone to seizures should be cautious and consult with a doctor before attending. It’s also worth noting that Epic will disable regular Fortnite game modes beginning at 12 p.m. ET on December 2 before entering the Chapter 5 (v28.00) update.

What to expect in the Chapter 5 event
Leaks from early this morning confirmed that a Fortnite x Eminem collaboration will occur sometime during the live event. Several leakers, including HYPEX, have revealed this crossover, which contains an Eminem Outfit and various alternate styles.
HYPEX also confirmed that the live event will contain the highly-anticipated Fortnite x LEGO crossover, a new racing mode, and a new rhythm mode. The rhythm mode leaked yesterday and will allow players to “play vocals, guitar, drums, and bass with free rewards,” according to HYPEX’s tweet.
