Visit these to modify your weapons in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 brought weapon modification benches back to the game. With the addition of mods, players can utilize these benches to customize most weapons to their liking. As a result, these are helpful resources in-game. Today, we will explain where you can find all Fortnite mod bench locations in Season 2 and how to use them.
Fortnite Mod Bench locations in Season 2
The map above per Fortnite.GG displays all Fortnite mod bench locations in Chapter 5 Season 2. You can find these in the underground bunkers and on the Loot Island alongside various Chests and other materials. Although the locations are all shown above, it's worth mentioning that you must wait until the first Storm Circle closes before accessing the weapon bunker.
Once the Storm Circle closes, an alert will appear on your screen, and each bunker above will open slowly. We also want to include that these bunkers tend to generate interest from any given lobby, so proceed with caution if you hope to utilize one of the Fortnite mod bench locations.

How does the mod bench work?
Some players have begun seeking out mod benches to complete a Rise of Midas challenge, and in this section, we will explain how to modify weapons appropriately. After entering the bunker, you will see a mod bench against the back wall (as shown in the screenshot below).
Your next step is to interact with the bench using the correct key on your screen. Then, you may add any attachment you desire, including Magazines, Sights, Underbarrels, and Barrels. However, each modification will cost you 75 Gold, so you may want to add attachments wisely.
Here is a complete list of weapons you can currently modify:
- Striker AR
- Nemesis AR
- Enforcer AR
- Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Hyper SMG
- Thunder Burst SMG
- Ranger Pistol
- Reaper Sniper Rifle
You can complete the Rise of Midas Quest by modifying three different weapons using any of the Fortnite mod bench locations mentioned earlier. Those challenges will be live until April 2.
