The new season brings an Olympian-level makeover with a Battle Pass, new locations, and weapons to match. All new locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
Four new points of interest (POIs) have spawned into the Season 2 map. Each unique drop spot fits the Greek Mythology theme of the season while housing some characters from the age-old stories. These locations possess non-player characters (NPCs), including Zeus, Cerberus, Hades, and Ares.

New weapon modifications introduced in Chapter 5 Season 2
In Chapter 5 Season 1, Epic Games implemented weapon modifications into Fortnite, and two more have joined the fun in Season 2. The Thermal Scope and Speedgrip are the two newest mods you can add to weapons or find already applied to a weapon. Below is a description of what you can expect from each.
- Thermal Scope – Doubles the usual scope view with a thermal effect you can turn on or off
