When is the finale for the new season of Big Brother?
Big Brother 27 has officially begun and even though we're only two episodes deep into the season, things are already starting to get messy with the 17 houseguests. The Mastermind's accomplice has thrown a wrench into everyone's plans, "Showergate" has caused a major tizzy amongst the houseguests, and there's a BB legend who no one is paying much attention to. While the first week of the season is only half done, some fans might want to look to the future. Specifically, you might be wondering when the finale of Big Brother 27 is set to take place.
After all, this is the best way to plan out your personal schedule and know just how long you'll be glued to your TVs every week. Fortunately, we have an official finale date from CBS, which you can see below.
Big Brother 27 finale date
According to Big Brother insider Sharon Tharp, the Big Brother 27 finale is currently slated for Sunday, Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m. ET. This is highly unlikely to change, as CBS plans out its TV schedule months in advance. However, we have seen some Big Brother episodes get pushed back due to previous time slots taking longer than expected. This sometimes happens if CBS has a 4:30 p.m. football game slotted before an episode.

As of right now, though, you can expect the finale to air on Sept. 28. It's going to be a two-hour episode that crowns the winner of BB27 and reunites the entire cast as they all look back on the season together. For example, as long as the Mastermind's accomplice doesn't reveal themselves to the houseguests before then, the entire cast will learn that Amy was the 17th houseguest all along.

How many days is Big Brother 27?
Now that we have a finale date, just how many days does that make Big Brother 27 in total? With the season starting on July 10 and ending on Sept. 28, that puts BB27 at 82 days long, which is the shortest season in a few years. The past three seasons have all been 90+ days long.
While this does mean roughly one week less of Big Brother, it also means we're in for an action-packed season. There are officially 17 houseguests and only around 11 weeks in the season, which means we're going to be seeing at least two double evictions, and quite possibly a triple eviction. This doesn't even account for a possible Battle Back scenario, which would add another houseguest back into the mix at some point before or after the Jury cutoff.
All in all, you can plan on the Big Brother 27 houseguests getting their money's worth out of eviction night. We'll make sure to keep this article updated with any news about the finale date.
