Here’s when you can expect the Jury to start in BB27.
This is the fifth week of Big Brother 27, and that only means one thing: the Jury is nearly upon us. This is the time where the game really starts to pick up, as the houseguests now have to be more strategic about how they play, who they eliminate, and what they say as more houseguests walk out the door straight to the Jury House.
If this is your first time watching Big Brother, the Jury is made up of either seven or nine evicted houseguests. Those houseguests all live together in a separate, secluded house from the main game and await to see who else joins them. On finale night, the Jury casts their votes for who they want to win Big Brother 27 out of the two finalists.
While the Jury plays an integral role in Big Brother, the houseguests don't have a concrete idea of when it will actually begin.

When is the Jury beginning in Big Brother 27?

At this point during week five, America still doesn't have an official timeline for when the Jury will begin. CBS hasn't made any kind of announcement about Jury, and the houseguests have continued to speculate inside the BB27 house.
However, the Big Brother Jury is almost always made up of either seven or nine players. The number of players depends on a few different factors, but there needs to be an odd number of Jury members to avoid a tie vote on finale night. Since there are always two finalists, a Jury of six or eight could result in a 3-3/4-4 tie, and that would be catastrophic for the integrity of the season.
So while we know the Jury consists of seven or nine members, we don't know which number CBS will go with. Obviously, that number determines when the Jury will begin in BB27.
Right now, during week five, we have seen four houseguests leave the house: Zae, Amy, Adrian, and Jimmy. This week, it seems like two or three players could have a realistic chance of being evicted, and whoever it is will be the fifth player out of the game. This person will also have no chance of making the Jury. Then, in week six, another player would be evicted, potentially marking the end of the first half of the game.
Beyond week six, the Jury could very well begin at the start of week seven if CBS wants to do a nine-person Jury. This would mean everyone who is safe past week five will at least make the Jury and play a further part in BB27. In total, 11 players would make up the second half of the season, including the two eventual finalists and nine Jury members.

However, if CBS decides to do a seven-person Jury, then we'll likely have to wait until the start of week nine to see who makes the BB27 Jury. That would mean eight players have been evicted, and the nine remaining players would make up the two finalists and seven Jury members.
So, to sum up, the Jury either begins in two weeks during week seven or in another month during week nine. A possible double eviction could throw a monkey wrench into those timelines, but CBS doesn't often do double evictions during the pre-Jury phase of Big Brother.
In any case, we'll have to wait and see how Big Brother 27 plays out and when the Jury could begin. You can watch the live episodes every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday to hear straight from Julie Chen-Moonves about the Jury or stay tuned right here to EsportsGG for that news.
