With Season 4 of Demon Slayer currently airing, many are wondering when Season 5, the show's finale, will officially release.
Here is everything we know about Demon Slayer: Season 5, including the release date, news and more.
Demon Slayer: Season 5 release date
As of now, we have no official release date for Season 5 of Demon Slayer. What we do know, however, is that the show will end after Season 5.
Demon Slayer has been following the manga pretty strictly, with no fillers. The final arc, Infinity Castle, will put the Hashiras against the top demons, making way for some incredible action and storytelling.
The last few seasons have been releasing a year apart. Hopefully, this is a trend that continues, meaning we could see Season 5 release in 2025.
There has been a bit of news released, though, regarding the episodes of Season 5.
Season 5 episodes
Recently, it was revealed that Season 5 of Demon Slayer will not be split into multiple episodes, but instead into three different movies.
So, will the movies be in theaters? Or will they go straight to Crunchyroll?
Well, in the past, Demon Slayer has released movies, such as Mugen Train, in theaters before they hit streaming services. This means there is a solid chance that the three movies will also be released in theaters.
The only concern is whether or not there will be a long wait between each movie. I think the last thing Demon Slayer fans want is one movie released every year.
As we learn more, we will keep you updated.
