Here’s how to solo Roshan in Dota 2 with Beastmaster after the 7,29 gameplay update.

A Reddit user has found a way to solo Roshan in just thirty seconds with Beastmaster. It is a neat trick for anyone looking to surprise opponents and possibly make a comeback in their games.

Roshan is one of the bigger objectives in Dota 2 and rewards players with the Aegis of Immortal on death. Dota 2 players are always searching for new tricks and tips to extract the most from the game. Reddit user /u/Alphachicken has posted a video on the social platform showing how players can use Beastmaster to solo Roshan. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that players can solo Roshan in just thirty seconds. All they need is an Aghanim’s Scepter and a Smoke of Deceit.

How to Solo Roshan on Beastmaster?

Dota 2 players can pull a quick one if they are playing Beastmaster. There’s no rocket science to understand how to do this. All a Beastmaster player needs is an Aghanim’s Scepter and a Smoke of deceit.

The strength hero requires around 30 seconds to kill Roshan alone according to the video. Players can sneak a free Aegis of Immortal by soloing Roshan while the rest of the squad is showing on the minimap. It can be a unique way to get your team an advantage in pub games.

Beastmaster has to spam his Wild Axes to deal stacking damage to Roshan. With the Smoke of deceit, Roshan has no target to attack and as such, Beastmaster can continue damaging Roshan for a long time. The Aghanim’s Scepter Upgrade removes the cooldown on Wild Axes while also increasing the damage.

Why is Beastmaster a good hero to solo Roshan?

Heroes that can damage Roshan are usually whose damage stacks over time. Beastmaster’s Wild Axes has a damage amplification of 6%/8%/10%/12%. These numbers increase to 10%/12%/14%/16% after equipping the Aghanim’s Scepter.

Besides Beastmaster, heroes such as Ursa and Shadow Fiend can also solo Roshan in a short time. Beastmaster players might also require additional clarities, mangoes, a null talisman or simply a bottle to have sufficient mana to spam Wild Axes.

Beastmaster was one of the most popular heroes in the previous patch. However, most of its strength emanated from the hero’s synergy with Necrobook. Valve removed Necrobook with the 7.29 patch update and it has significantly affected Beastmaster’s popularity.
