Will we see the classic map in 2025?
When Call of Duty: Warzone was integrated with Black Ops 6 earlier this year, the large map didn't change. While two new small maps were introduced, Urzikstan has remained as the default big map in Warzone. Not only was this disappointing for players who didn't like Urzikstan last year, but players thought they'd see Verdansk back in the Warzone map rotation.
Many players hoped the return of Verdansk would happen when Warzone integrated with BO6, but that hasn't happened as of yet. Verdansk has been confirmed to come back in the game at some point, but when exactly is that planned to happen?

Release date for Verdansk in Warzone
At the time of writing, Activision has only confirmed that Verdansk is returning to Warzone in the spring of 2025. This was confirmed at the COD Next event before the launch of Black Ops 6. We're unsure of the exact timing and how the return of the map will affect the rotation going forward, though.
With the way the seasons are currently planned out, it seems like Verdansk could arrive at the start of Season 3 in Warzone. Season 2 is slated for the end of January which would put Season 3's release date sometime around April or early May, just in time for the spring season.
Whenever Verdansk does return, it likely means Urzikstan will be fully replaced. Activision could decide to keep Urzikstan as the Ranked Play map for a season, though, as Verdansk has never been the Ranked map before. This would give the developers time to work out any kinks with the map before unleashing it into Ranked playlists.
However, in all likelihood, players will want Verdansk as the Ranked map straight away, so that's the route Activision will presumably take. Hopefully, by the time Verdansk does arrive, the cheating issue in Ranked will be in a better spot so players can enjoy their time on the classic map.
